“PROJECT CONNECT” BRINGS SERVICES, RESOURCES FOR INDIVIDUALS EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS IN SURPRISE, WEST VALLEY DURING ONE-DAY EVENT, FEB. 22

SURPRISE, Ariz. (Feb. 9, 2024): Individuals experiencing homelessness or on the brink of homelessness and needing assistance with housing, shelter, benefits, identification and other basic needs in and around Surprise will be connected with a range of services and resources during Project Connect from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22.

Organized by Keys to Change, formerly Human Services Campus, Inc., the event will take place at Salvation Army North West Valley, 17420 Avenue of the Arts, in Surprise.

Guests will be able to meet with professionals providing employment services, medical care, clothing, personal care items, spiritual support, family and legal services, behavioral health and substance use disorder assistance, LGBTQIA services, domestic abuse and trafficking resources, Motor Vehicle Bureau identification, cloud document storage, Social Security, temporary shelter and veteran benefits.

Food, showers and bicycle repair also will be available.

Each guest will be assigned a supportive volunteer to assist in connecting to services and resources.
